ABOUT US
Axeman is a professional mobile DJ operating in and around the Calgary area since 2012. He has experience in mixing music of all different genres, catered to the needs of the client. His talent and expertise in DJ work has allowed him to gain years of experience playing multiple different kinds of venues and events. Some examples include; but are not limited to; private functions, night clubs, and local Calgary bars. He is known for bringing extremely aesthetic productions with earth-shaking, immersive audio to impress audiences of all kinds. Axeman additionally offers services as an experienced audio technician for artists who want to be in the spotlight. He has experience and passion for intelligent lighting systems, and utilizes this knowledge when performing at large scale events with his professional DMX protocol control software. This business has been a superb hobby for him alongside his studies at the University of Saskatchewan in the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program.

Longer version: DJ Axeman was incredible to work with. I was really picky about the type of DJ I wanted to play our wedding as I feel like I have a strong taste in music. I was looking for a DJ that would be really good at transitioning between song and playing all the best tracks that a band usually wouldn’t play (since we already had a band before Ryan came on) and I was lucky enough to find Ryan on SoundCloud. Ryan absolutely blew the crowd away with his DJ skills. He had a few transitions in particular that made it feel like he was tiesto at a music festival. When Ryan came on, the energy in the room went way up and everyone got super excited by the songs he was playing. Ryan was really easy to work with as he coordinated everything directly with our wedding planner. Ryan also let us submit songs ahead of time which was great. Trust me, you need to hire DJ Axeman for your wedding or event!!!

Ryan and Hannah were both extremely easy to work with, professional, and accommodating to our needs. They even went out of their way to coordinate with other vendors to ensure everything ran seamlessly throughout the night.
